Working principle of ozone removal catalyst

The working principle of ozone catalyst mainly relies on the active components on the catalyst, such as copper, nickel, aluminum and other metal oxides, through chemical reactions can decompose ozone (03) into oxygen (02), so as to play the role of deodorization.

Specifically, the work of an ozone catalyst consists of the following steps

1. Adsorption: Ozone molecules are adsorbed to the surface of the catalyst.

2. Decomposition: The adsorbed ozone molecules react with the active components on the catalyst and are decomposed into oxygen molecules

3. Oxidation: The free oxygen group oxidizes with odor molecules (such as sulfide, nitride, etc.) to transform it into harmless substances.

4. Regeneration: When the active component on the catalyst surface is gradually filled, the adsorbent on the catalyst needs to be released by heating or other means in order to continue the reaction.

The working principle of ozone catalyst is to use the active components on the surface of the catalyst to promote chemical reactions, so as to decompose ozone and oxidize harmful gases to achieve the effect of deodorization.
